When we told our interns they could work here for the summer, we weren’t just saying that as a manner of speaking. We put them to work right away.

You see, we mean business here at Basso, and we also feel privileged to teach young adults the ins and outs of our industry. Naturally, we’re learning from them too, and we are all having a blast along the way.

Want to meet them? Let us introduce them to you!

Kylie O'Neill

Kylie O’Neill

Kylie attends the College for Creative Studies and is pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree in communication design. After graduation in May 2019, she hopes to work as a communication designer in a small studio in the area of package design, identity, and branding.

“I really enjoy working at Basso. Everyone on the team has been friendly and warm. I’m excited to come in to work every day,” Kylie said. “I hope to further my design skills and advance my current abilities. I want to feel confident once graduation comes that I can go out into the world and handle any job I may acquire.”

Giuseppe LaFata

Giuseppe LaFata

Giuseppe LaFata currently attends Macomb Community College and is planning on transferring to Oakland University. He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering with an anticipated graduation date of May 2020. His goal is to work as a drafting and design engineer or mechanical engineer in the auto industry.

“Working at Basso has been a wonderful experience. The team is really inviting, and they are there to support you,” Giuseppe said. “After working at Basso, I hope to better my skills in design and also project planning. It is important to me that once I’ve found my career, I can be the best at it because of the experiences I’ve had prior.”

Welcome, Kylie and Giuseppe! We are delighted to have you both on our team.
