Being able to keep a watchful eye on “what makes a website tick” is what our newest Digital Analyst, Kevin Nicholson, enjoys most about his job. He values the opportunity to help clients by making digital campaigns work more efficiently.
“I like sticking close to the numbers,” Kevin said. “What makes a website tick is fascinating to me.”
As for the culture here at Basso, Kevin said he feels welcome.
“Everyone here is really awesome,” he said. “It’s a fun, friendly environment, and I can act natural and be myself around everyone.”
Originally from Michigan, Kevin moved to Frankfurt, Germany with his family when he was a teenager. He attended high school there and had the chance to explore much of Europe for more than five years. While there, he met people from many different countries, so he had the chance to experience various cultures firsthand.
“Nearly everyone I ran into in the street spoke English and tested their English on me,” he said.
After his father’s job with General Motors sent the family back to the United States, Kevin obtained a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University with a focus on advertising management.
He briefly lived in Troy after college and bought a house in Oak Park about a year ago, which he is enjoying transforming into something beautiful.
In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends. He also runs a volleyball pick-up league for the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bloomfield Hills.
